The Division of Mineral Resources Management utilizes an electronic processing system (EPS) for submittal of coal and industrial minerals (IM) permit applications.
- Coal mining applicants and operators must have an approved Centralized Ownership and Control File to get an account for the Electronic Processing System (EPS).
- Industrial Minerals mining applicants only need to submit an EPS Account Request.
To request an account:
Complete and submit an EPS Account Request for each person that needs to log into the EPS.
If a consultant needs to access the EPS:
The mining company must give permission to the consultant by completing an EPS Consulting Company Authorization form.
Each user for the consulting company will have to complete an EPS Account Request.
The majority of mining application forms may be accessed from within the Electronic Processing System under the left-hand navigation pane under Forms.
Outside of EPS, coal and IM forms, procedure directives, etc. are also available within the division's FORMS & DOCUMENTS library.
