Find information and opportunities to learn to safely and responsibly fish, hunt, and harvest your own local food.

Fishing and hunting are not only great ways to spend time with friends and family outdoors, they are also inexpensive and ethical ways to fill your freezer with natural, free-range meat. Getting started in learning to shoot, hunt, or fish for the first time can definitely be challenging and intimidating, but don't let this discourage you! We can help with all the information and resources you’ll need to safely and responsibly fish, hunt, and harvest your own local food.

Whether you're looking for a class, course, a place to practice, or if you're just curious about learning to fish, shoot, or hunt, you've come to the right place. We want to help improve your understanding of these outdoor activities and give you the experience and desire to continue learning. Everyone has a unique background, story, and perspective when it comes to hunting, but the passion we share for nature and the hunt remains the same. Corey Tucker, a Cincinnati native and aspiring hunter, sits down with two hunters, Angela and Johanna, in this inspiring video. Watch to hear their unique perspectives on hunting and what it means to be a hunter who did not grow up afield.

Corey is documenting his journey of learning to hunt as well as other nature experiences in his "Ohio Outdoor Adventures" YouTube series. We'll share more of Corey's videos as he encounters more perspectives of hunting and practices his skills in the field with seasoned hunters.
