Mindy Bankey is an assistant director at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR). Prior to returning to the department in 2019, Mindy served as the chief executive officer for the Ohio Federation of Soil and Water Conservation Districts for 11 years. She also worked as an environmental administrator, chief of legislative services and assistant legislative liaison at ODNR for 10 years.

Mindy earned her bachelor’s degree from Cedarville University, where she majored in political science/pre-law.

Mindy enjoys hiking and going trail running. She is a native of Piketon.
