Damian Sikora is serving as the chief legal counsel and ethics officer for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR). Prior to joining the department in 2019, Damian had worked at the Ohio Attorney General’s office since 2004. While at the Ohio Attorney General’s office, he was chief of the constitutional offices section. Damian also served as ethics counsel and oversaw the office’s ethics and professionalism unit, and he managed the Ohio Attorney General’s public records unit.

Damian also worked as a staff attorney for the Second District Court of Appeals of Ohio for two years.

Damian earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Dayton. He also received his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

Damian received The Ohio State University Alumni Association’s 2017 Outstanding Alumnus in Public Service award, and he enjoys exploring Ohio’s parks and trails. He is a native of North Ridgeville.
