Friends of the Hocking Hills

Friends of Hocking Hills support more than one state park in the region.

Since 2003, the Friends of the Hocking Hills State Park, a 501(c)(3) organization, has provided over $1.7 million in support to Hocking Hills State Park. If park management requests our assistance, we raise funds to provide what is needed.

The group's members and directors have received many honors for their work in preserving the Hocking Hills. Most recently the directors Clyde Gosnell and Dr. Louise “Omie” Warner  already ODNR Natural Resource Hall of Fame inductees were recognized by the National Association of State Park Directors with the prestigious Presidents Award.
