Friends of Kennedy Stone House / Salt Fork

A doe and a fawn standing in a field with thick, green foliage behind them.

The Friends of the Kennedy Stone House at Salt Fork State Park is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to preserving Stone House and sharing the history of the house with the public.

The Stone House has been restored to its 1840’s appearance complete with a summer kitchen and existing unique root cellar.

The Friends of Kennedy Stone House are always looking for volunteers for upkeep, fund raisers and events as well as for donated artifacts from the early 1800s to add to their collection and rotating displays. Opportunities include becoming a docent at the museum.
