Reservations are required for all sites and may be made six months in advance online or by calling (866) 644-6727.
The family campground at East Harbor is the largest in the Ohio State Park system. It is conveniently located a short drive or bike ride from a family-friendly swimming beach on Lake Erie. Pets are permitted on all sites.
- Showers, flush toilets, water station and dump station
- Launch ramp and fish cleaning building for use by campers
- Free WiFi access is available for registered campers
- Seasonal Camp Store (April-Oct) offers camping supplies (firewood, ice), ice cream.
- Campers may rent bikes or borrow games and sporting equipment at the Camp Store.
Off-Peak Season: From November 1 to April 1, electric sites B1 through B64 are open. Dump station available and water is available at the check-in office.
Campsites
- 354 electric sites; 4 of these are ADA accessible
- 51 full hook-up sites; 3 of these are ADA accessible
- 168 non-electric sites
- Each site has a picnic table and fire ring.
Group Camps
East Harbor State Park offers 10 primitive Group Camping sites in their own loop of the campground. Each site allows a maximum of 50 campers. Parking is limited to two vehicles at a site. Pets are permitted.
Flush restrooms and showerhouses are located nearby.
Yurt
There is one Yurt available as a getaway rental at East Harbor State Park. It is accessible for persons with a disability or otherwise limited physical mobility (you must click the ADA feature in the reservation website in order to see it). No pets are permitted on the site or in the Yurt.

Sherman Cabins
For campers who don't have a tent or RV, Sherman Cabins offer a wood shelter with limited amenities:

- Heat and air conditioning
- Porch with chairs
- Picnic table, fire ring, grill
- No linens; no utensils; no housekeeping
- No pets
