Missionary Island Wildlife Area is a 297-acre state wildlife area located 2 miles southwest of Waterville. The property is in Lucas and Wood counties.
History and Purpose
Acquisition of the Missionary Island Wildlife Area began in 1974 and continued through 1989. The property was acquired using multiple state funds.
