Location and Description
New Lyme Wildlife Area is a 726-acre state wildlife area located 13 miles south of Jefferson. The property is in Ashtabula county.
History and Purpose
Acquisition of the New Lyme Wildlife Area began in 1942 and continued through 2004. The property was acquired using multiple state funds. Multiple sources of federal funding were used to acquire the property.
