Resthaven Wildlife Area is a 2,218-acre state wildlife area located 1 mile north of Castalia. The property is in Erie and Sandusky counties.
History and Purpose
Acquisition of the Resthaven Wildlife Area began in 1942 and continued through 1992. The property was acquired using multiple state funds. Wildlife Restoration federal funding was used to acquire the property.
