The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mineral Resources Management administers Ohio's Abandoned Mine Lands Program. Ohio Revised Code Chapter 1513 contains the laws related to coal mining and reclamation, including the reclamation of abandoned mine lands (AML), in Ohio. Many of the sections of law from 1513.18 to 1513.372 are specific to the AML Program.
