Alum Creek State Park Campground

Campground

  • Heated shower facilities with flush toilets
  • Dump station
  • Beach and boat ramp for exclusive use of the overnight guests
  • Basketball courts, volleyball, miniature golf, horseshoe pits, and playgrounds
  • Seasonal nature programs are available

Reservations are required and may be made up to six months in advance, online or by calling (866) 644-6727. There is no self-registration at the campground.

Campsites

Large campground features shaded sites for all types of camping. Pets are welcome on all sites.

  • 286 electric campsites offer both wooded and sunny areas, some of which overlook the lake 
  • Each site has 20-, 30- and 50-amp electrical hookup
  • 24 full-service campsites offer electric, sewer and water hookups

Camper Cabin

A large Camper Cabin is located in the campground and is available April through October.

  • Two-room wooden structure sleeps up to 4 people
  • 1 double bed and 1 set of single bunk beds
  • A/C, refrigerator, electric cook stove
  • Check-in is 4pm; Check-out is 11am.
  • Pets are not permitted.
  • Smoking is not permitted.
  • No linens, dishes or cooking utensils are provided.
  • Daily housekeeping is not available.

Sherman Cabins

Four Sherman Cabins located in the campground. They are available for rent year-round.

  • Each sleeps 3 (one set of bunk beds and a single bed) 
  • Three Sherman Cabins are a one-room structure, with the beds and a table and two chairs in one room.
  • One ADA-compliant Sherman Cabin (C18) is a two-room structure. It has a built-in picnic-style table in the main room and a second room has the beds in it.
  • All have A/C and heat, microwave and small refrigerator
  • Check-in is 4pm; Check-out is 11am.
  • Pets are not permitted.
  • Smoking is not permitted.
  • No linens, dishes or cooking utensils are provided.
  • Daily housekeeping is not available.

Equestrian Camp

An Equestrian camp is located north of US Route 36 along North Old State Road. Sites are primitive but restrooms are nearby. Bridle trails nearby. Reservations are required and may be made up to six months ahead online or by calling (866) 644-6727.

Group Camp

The Group Camp area is located off Lewis Center Road, between the Beach entrance and Hollenback Road. Reservations are required and may be made up to six months in advance, online or by calling (866) 644-6727.
