Location & Description

Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area is a 5,744-acre state wildlife area located 4 miles northeast of Oak Hill. The property is in Jackson county.

History & Purpose

Acquisition of the Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area began in 1953 and continued through 2009. The property was acquired using multiple state funds and donations. Wildlife Restoration federal funding was used to acquire the property.
