Indian Creek Wildlife Area Shooting Range

Location and Description    

Indian Creek Wildlife Area is a 1,695-acre state wildlife area located 1 mile southeast of Fayetteville. The property is in Brown county. 

History and Purpose    

Acquisition of the Indian Creek Wildlife Area began in 1954 and continued through 1976. The property was acquired using multiple state funds. Wildlife Restoration federal funding was used to acquire the property.
